Chess camps and classes are a fun way for children to learn or improve at chess and to stay sharp when school is out. As a teacher, I enjoy camps in particular, because they offer me the opportunity to teach chess in more detail than at regular classes, and also to offer a wider array of fun chess related activities (such as tournaments, speed chess, chess trivia, etc.) than I can at afterschool chess clubs. You can see a few testimonials from parents of my Pittsburgh camps here.

This summer I will be returning to Pittsburgh (my old residence) to teach two chess camps at Shady Side Academy, and will be offering one in Lawrenceville, NJ the week of August 19.
